When is Falls Byron?

  • 31 December 2022 – 2 January 2023.

Where is Falls Byron?

  • The Byron Falls farm is located on the North Byron Parklands site, aka tropical paradise!

Is Falls Byron 18+?

  • Falls is strictly 18+. All patrons will require an accepted form of photo ID/proof of age that will need to be carried with them at all times. This will be checked throughout the festival and will be required to get through the gates.

Can I apply to work or volunteer at the Event?

  • The festival will have limited paid event and bar positions available, as well as opportunities for volunteers both during & pre-post-festival. Applications for work & volunteer positions will open online a little later – stay tuned!

Staff, police, sniffer dogs and security will be searching ALL cars on arrival. Harsh penalties including immediate ejection from the event, fines and possible criminal charges apply to those found doing the wrong thing.

Banned items in the main event arena include:

  • Glass
  • Cans
  • Illegal drugs
  • ANY BAGS over 30 cm wide x 20 cm high
  • Alcohol brought in from outside the of event
  • Skateboards
  • Boogie boards
  • Milk/bread crates
  • Chairs (folding, portable, camping)
  • Anything studded (belts, wristbands etc.)
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Fireworks
  • Fire twirling devices
  • Warning flares
  • Video and tape recording devices (including GoPro’s)
  • Professional still cameras (small still cameras are allowed)
  • Laser lights
  • Umbrellas (bring a poncho or raincoat instead!)
  • Water pistols
  • Culturally insensitive items and attire
  • Clothing, jewellery or accessory displaying the name of any gang, club affiliated or similar organisations or any “declared organisation” within the meaning of the Crimes (Criminal Organisation Control) Act 2009
  • Strictly no animals (with the exception of service or assistance animals, such as guide dogs) 
  • Drones
  • Selfie sticks
  • Protest paraphernalia and banners
  • Non-biodegradable glitter
  • Any other items considered illegal or dangerous

What’s the site like for getting around?

  • The Byron Bay site is natural terrain and includes both flat areas and grassy slopes. There are dirt roads to access the event with some uneven terrain. The main Valley Stage is located within a natural amphitheater with steep grassy areas, however there is access to the amphitheater via hard surface dirt roads. We are happy to provide more specific info about the site to patrons with mobility questions. If you’d like more info, please email [email protected] 

Is there accessible parking on site?

  • Yes, we have Disabled Parking available at the festival, close to the Entry Gate 2 – please email us at [email protected] prior to arrival or ask staff upon entry.

What is your Companion Card policy?

Holders of a National or State issued Companion Card may request a Companion Ticket equivalent to the ticket type held by the person with a disability. Upon approval of request, Falls will issue companions a Complimentary Ticket to the event to accompany a person with disability.

To request a Companion Card Ticket, please email the customer service team at [email protected] and include the following details:

  • Name, email and mobile number for Companion Card holder requesting a Companion Card Ticket,
  • A copy of your valid 2022/23 Falls ticket/s, displaying. Your name / D.O.B / ticket number,
  • A scanned copy of the valid Companion Card being used,
  • Name, email and D.O.B of the carer,

The Complimentary Companion Ticket will be issued via email direct to the carer.

What if I lose something at the festival?

  • Not to worry! If you lose something at the festival, Pixit (FKA Crowdfind) will be there to help reunite you with your lost item. More info on Pixit coming soon.

TICKETING FAQS

Tickets are on sale via Moshtix to the General Public 9am local time Thursday 12 May 2022.

However, we recommend buying in Presale to avoid missing out! 

  • Locals Online Sale kicks off from 9am – 9pm local time Saturday 7 May 2022
  • Previous Year Purchaser, Friend of Falls & 2022 Sign Ups Presale kicks off from 9am – 9pm local time Monday 9 May 2022
  • Latitude Presale kicks off from 9am AEST Tuesday 10 May – 11:59pm local time Wednesday 11 May 2022

To access the Locals Online Sale from 9am – 9pm local time Saturday 7 May 2022, simply head to the Falls Moshtix page and select your location.

You’ll then be prompted to enter your valid postcode in the ‘offer code’ box. Once you’ve entered your valid postcode, you’ll be able to select your desired tickets.

If you purchased tickets to Falls in 2019/registered as an attendee and opted in, you’re eligible for tickets in our Previous Year Purchaser Presale. All those eligible will be emailed, so keep an eye on your inbox, and don’t forget the check your junk folder!

How to sign up to LatitudePay:

What are my Buy Now Pay Later options:

Use LatitudePay* on purchases from $20 to $1,000 to lock in your tickets today, and pay over 10 weekly payments, with no account keeping fees.

Buying for you and your friends? Use LatitudePay+* on purchases between $1,000 and $3,000 with payments spread over 6 months.  A $10 monthly account keeping fee applies while there is a balance outstanding on your LatitudePay+ account.

Spending over your LatitudePay limit? That’s fine! Your first payment will be 10% of your available limit plus the amount you went over. For example, if you’re purchasing $1,100 worth of tickets for you and your friends, your first payment would be $100 (10% of $1,000) plus the additional $100 you went over. All subsequent payments will be $100 each. You can spend over your limit with a regular LatitudePay account and no account fees, you do not need to be signed up to LatitudePay+ to spend above your limit.

Why does it say that LatitudePay is unavailable at checkout?

Why does my LatitudePay account say I have a $0 limit, or why does my LatitudePay account say I have insufficient credit available?

If while you’re checking out with Moshtix your account is saying that you have insufficient credit available and that your available limit is $0, this could be because you don’t have an approved limit. Head to https://app.latitudepay.com/, sign into your account and double check you’ve got an approved limit.

Yes! In addition to a 3 Day Event Ticket, you will need a Camping Ticket to stay overnight at Falls.

Current valid Australia driver’s license, current passport, Government issued proof of age card, international driver’s license.

Any posts on our social media pages about buying and selling tickets will be removed. We cannot guarantee the validity of any ticket not purchased via our official ticketing platform. We are under no obligation to replace free of charge any fraudulent tickets purchased in this way.

  • Gas bottles
  • Campfires
  • Candles & naked glames
  • Glass of any kind
  • Illegal drugs
  • Culturally insensitive items and attire
  • Clothing, jewellery or accessory displaying the name of any motorcycle-related or similar organisations or any “declared organisation” within the meaning of the Crimes (Criminal Organisation Control) Act 2009 is not permitted
  • Strictly no animals (with the exception of service or assistance animals, such as guide dogs)
  • Inflatable furniture of any kind
  • Sound systems
  • Bean bags
  • Generators
  • Portable cooking devices
  • Gas lanterns
  • Weapons
  • Lasers
  • Umbrellas (use raincoat, poncho instead)
  • Professional cameras or recording devices (small still cameras are allowed)
  • Flyers, signage or sampling products that have not been approved by Falls.

No, you will be allocated a camping space on arrival. To camp with friends, you must arrive together in a vehicle convoy, you cannot reserve spaces for people arriving later.

Remember, friends that arrive together camp together!

None of the campsites at Falls are powered, and generators are not allowed to be brought in.

Butane gas cylinders are NOT permitted at Falls. Only gas bottles that are in date as per manufacturer’s recommendation and professionally installed in purpose-built RVs and caravans are permitted.

RVs, trailers, caravans are all fine to bring along, you will need to pre-purchase a Big Rig Pass for these vehicles which will be available later in the year.

In order to attend the event and camp inside your vehicle, you will need the following:

  • 3 day Event Ticket (per person)
  • Camping Ticket (per person)
  • Car Pass (per vehicle)

And a friendly reminder If you want to camp with your pals you must arrive at the same time. You cannot save or ‘bags’ campsite space for friends arriving later.

NO! Falls is strictly no BYO. All vehicles will be searched upon entry and prohibited items will be confiscated.
