Car Passes

As well as your Festival Ticket you will require a pre-purchased Car Pass if you plan to drive to the festival site. You will need a pre-purchased car pass whether you are camping on site or just parking for the day. This has been introduced to create more space onsite, the number of passes available each day is capped and car-pooling is highly encouraged. It’s also better for Mother Nature. Check out some handy tips below that we recommend reading through.

Bag and Vehicle Search

There will be both bag and vehicle searches upon entry to the festival site and this process will likely cause some delays. Every vehicle headed to the campgrounds will be checked at some point during the entry process. Please be patient and make it an opportunity to say hello to the people next to you. These procedures are necessary for everyone’s safety so please take it in your stride and work with the event and security staff to make the process as easy and quick as possible.  We thank you for your support and patience. Check out bag sizes here.

Pro Tips For Those Staying On Site

To access the Falls Festival Byron campgrounds, one must hold a valid 3 Day Festival Ticket AND a valid Camping Ticket (per person). Camping space is very limited and large campsites are not permitted. Tents and camping equipment must only be set up in an approved camping area. There are multiple camping locations, which will be allocated upon arrival. One may not choose their campsite and camping in any particular area is not guaranteed. To camp with friends, arrive at the same time and set up together. Leave couches at home!

Please keep the internal event festival roads and campground emergency lanes clear for emergency vehicles and rubbish collection. Any patron vehicle or campsite that encroaches on any campground emergency access lanes may be towed and/or removed at the Patron’s cost and expense.

Possible delays may be expected in peak arrival and departure times. Please be patient and know that we are moving vehicles as fast as we can.

Passes are not refundable or replaceable.
