Juno Mamba

Juno Mamba

Vinci Andanar’s Juno Mamba project is richly detailed and deeply personal. First introducing us to his powerful, emotive and compelling dance music in 2019, the journey to Juno Mamba is one steeped in self-exploration and inspiration. A proud Filipino immigrant, his ties to music date back to when he was a young child as he coped with moving to Australia at just five years old. Following on from his 2020 debut EP Light Echoes, 2021 has seen the release of two EPs, Freedom, its spiritual partner, Infinity. In just two years, Juno Mamba has already had his work across his three EPs remixed by Nathan Micay and TSHA and worked with award winning director Sanjay De Silva (Sampa the Great) on his debut film clip. He joined the family at Anjunadeep for Infinity and has become a familiar name abroad with support from BBC radio 1 and locally from triple j, FBi and Triple R, Complex, Ransom Note and Purple Sneakers. As he wraps up his most prolific year yet, 2022 looks set to be the year Juno Mamba is finally able to be brought to the world. This is music which should be experienced in the visceral, cathartic and liberating way it was intended, and the man behind it now steps into the light completely on his own terms, and ready to connect.
