Falls is like a mini village and like all towns we have law enforcement. Police, sniffer dogs and security are present at the festival to keep you safe. Say hi to the team, do the right thing and please report any issues that you have to our staff, security, police or information stations. We will also have a text hotline onsite this year if you would like to report anything you see.
Drug and booze buses will also be operating on roads leading to and from Falls so make sure you do the right thing. Drink plenty of water, have something to eat and get breath tested before leaving site.
A message from Victoria Police
“Victoria Police will be present on site for the duration of the Falls Festival.
Our aim is to facilitate a safe festival for patrons attending and to ensure the safety of patrons and other road users with they leave the festival.
If you need police attendance for any reason to approach us directly or approach venue security who will arrange our attendance.
We will be actively identifying people trafficking drugs at the festival – If you have information about this type of offending you can report it anonymously to Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000, or directly to police at the festival.
If you or your friends feel unwell for any reason, please engage with Medical staff at the earliest opportunity.
Booze and Drug Buses will be present when you are leaving the festival – if you have taken a substance that impairs your ability to drive – DO NOT DRIVE”
